We are March, the UK's leading provider of critical engineering services. Our expertise as a multi-disciplinary engineering partner across infrastructure, process, and digital services has led to long-term partnerships with leading organisations in everything from food and drink and utilities to high-security industries such as defence, aerospace, and nuclear. Due to a rapidly filling order book, we are currently looking to hire several Project Engineers on a full-time Staff basis. As a Project Engineer, you will be the vital link between the customer and the delivery of physical and technical elements of the projects you work upon. Your primary focus will be working closely with our in-house Engineering team and Project Management team to provide the detailed day-to-day management and logistical aspects associated with our multi-disciplined (Electrical, Mechanical, Process & Software) projects. Key Responsibilities

Produce RAMS (Risk Assessment & Method Statements) for site project activities. Ensure tasks are planned in a safe manner. Challenge unsafe acts. Support the delivery team with mechanical delivery process pipework systems (hygienic and non-hygienic), vessels, and multi-disciplined projects. Understand the overall project requirements. Deliver while being conscious of contract programme and financial budget. Attend and contribute to project start-up meetings. Attend regular project progress and design review meetings as required. Contribute to project planning activities and track progress. Produce Bill of Materials from drawings for estimating and purchasing. Procure materials and equipment required as part of the project. Undertake site surveys and produce sketches to aid costing or design. Contribute to cost reduction and value engineering on projects. Work cohesively and communicate effectively with all departments including Engineering, Manufacturing, Labour, and onward supply chain. Work with the client’s team members during the project and attend regular meetings. Ensure that manufacture of equipment and installation of pipework systems is correct to specification. Liaise with and co-ordinate subcontractors, such as insulation, electrical, structural etc. Identify and appropriately capture project variations. Skills and Experience

Experience working with piping systems and vessels. Experience with the justification of compliance against the Supply of Machinery Directive. Knowledge of Design Risk Assessment. Experience working in hygienic industries (i.e. food, beverage, pharmaceutical). Experience using AutoCAD. Experience using MS Project or similar. Specific Qualifications

Can communicate clearly and concisely with project stakeholders. Can interpret engineering drawings, P&ID’s & PFD’s. Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). What we offer
