4 month initial training, including gaining additional Gas safe qualifications and a period of shadowing one of our long serving experienced engineers. You will be paid from the moment you leave your front door and begin your day. We deliver all parts / spares directly to site (very little van stock to manage). Roughly 70% of your work will be pro-active pre-booked servicing. Lots of opportunities for overtime should you want to do it. Duties and Responsibilities:
To undertake the servicing and maintenance of crematory and ancillary equipment on client sites. Carry out inspections, complete reports and submit appropriate recommendations’, as necessary. Record and maintain existing servicing records in line with Company procedures. Ensure all safety procedures and business standards/regulations are followed without exception. Work in conjunction with departmental manager and team members to identify, implement and drive actions for continuous improvement. Promote teamwork and cooperation at all levels. Communicate clearly and concisely with team members, internal departments’, and customers in regard to work instructions and requirements. Flexible approach to work duties/tasks in accordance with the requirements of the business. Essential Skills and Qualifications: Mechanical Engineer with comprehensive electrical experience or Electrical Engineer with good mechanical experience. Apprentice trained NVQ level 3 as a minimum. Experience of working within an engineering manufacturing environment is a distinct advantage. Ability to problem solve effectively. Ability to work effectively either alone or as part of a team with minimum or no supervision.
