Jacket Engineers (x4)
for 9 months+ contracts based in Leatherhead. As a
Technical Advisor - Offshore Structural , you will support the lead related preparation of engineering deliverables within the scope assigned: Design basis, material, and construction specifications Independently perform engineering analyses for:
Operational (in-service) phase (in place, fatigue, seismic) Non-operational phase (loadout, transportation, launch, upending, and setdown) Accidental phase (boat impact, ALE earthquake, pushover)
Perform detailed design of jacket appurtenances Review analyses/calculations performed by others, provide technical guidance, and proactively resolve any discrepancies This position involves liaising with other disciplines, the client, & 3rd party contractors and coordinating & working with project team members across global offices to deliver tasks within allotted timelines and budgets. Skills/Experience required: Degree in Structural Engineering Design Proficiency with SESAM/SACS software is required. Proficiency to perform non-linear FEA using ABAQUS and USFOS is desirable. In-depth knowledge of the latest revisions of offshore design codes such as ISO 19901, EN 19902 and applicable DNV & NORSOK codes is a must. Ability to work in an office-based role.
