Floor Manager

to join our UK team and oversee day-to-day operations in our workshop. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated

Floor Manager

to supervise and coordinate the daily activities of our production floor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing teams, ensuring high-quality standards, and driving operational efficiency. You will play a key role in ensuring that all projects are completed on time, to the highest standards, and in line with customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the production floor. Lead and motivate a team of fabricators and technicians, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency. Ensure all projects meet company quality standards and performance specifications. Maintain a safe, organized, and clean working environment. Coordinate production schedules and manage resources to meet deadlines. Monitor team performance and provide guidance, training, and support where needed. Address any issues or delays that may arise, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and project execution. Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all work, ensuring customer satisfaction. Hire members of staff suitable for available positions. Qualifications Experience : A minimum of 10 years in a managerial role within an automotive or manufacturing environment. Skills : Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Experience managing teams in a fast-paced, technical environment. Attributes : Proactive, hands-on manager with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Customer Focus : A commitment to ensuring that customer projects are delivered with precision and excellence.
