Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer – Stafford, VA Seeking Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in overseeing military production efforts for our customer in Stafford, VA. Duties include: Analyze data: Collect data on processes and production through observations and direct interaction with the OEM. Analyze the data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Review processes, systems, or enhancements to improve productivity or efficiency. Review quality control: Recommend quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costs. Conduct Government Source Inspections. Interact with DCMA on matters related to the production contract. Preparing proposals: Work with technical writers to prepare client and customer proposals. Serve as witness for Performance Based Payment contract items requiring customer approval. Develop reports, briefs, and documentation related to programs in the portfolio. Conduct technical assessment and evaluation of Prime Contractor deliverables, architectures, and Engineering Change Proposals. Assist with the development of technical specifications. Develop Technical Review Action Plans, and participate in all aspects of Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR) process. Participate in Systems Engineering IPTs. Travel and perform other duties as required. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or other technical/scientific discipline; 5 years relevant experience with degree; 8 years without degree but with qualifying technical experience commensurate with required level. DAWIA Certification or equivalent training in the Systems Engineering/IT/Computer or Testing field preferred. Experience with SETRs and documentation is required. Experience in developing acquisition documentation to support programs in achieving required milestones/events preferred. Ability to effectively work independently and as part of an integrated team of Government and non-Government stakeholders is required. Experience with MCSC policies, processes, and environments is required for Mid and Senior levels. Prior experience using and/or providing support for multiple systems in various phases of the acquisition cycle preferred. Excellent MS Office skills are required. Exceptional interpersonal skills, go-getter attitude, and a passion for the Marine Corps mission are required. Strong oral/written communication skills, and analytical capabilities are required. Ability to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance is required. Salary Range - $85,000 - $110,000 This position is contingent upon contract award.
