Job Purpose
You will be responsible for Electrical/Instrumentation (E/I) maintenance and technical support for the Wastewater Production team, focusing on the repair and maintenance of water and wastewater assets. In a fast-paced, modern maintenance environment, you will provide proactive, planned, and reactive support across your field of expertise, ensuring compliance with company, statutory, and regulatory requirements while minimising environmental impact.
Job Accountabilities
Efficient Maintenance Services : Deliver efficient Electrical/Instrumentation (E/I) maintenance and installation services across UU.
Fault Diagnosis and Rectification : Diagnose and rectify faults to ensure the correct operation of electrical, instrumentation, and systems-based equipment.
Proactive Maintenance : Perform planned and proactive maintenance activities.
Health & Safety Compliance : Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and internal company policies.
Financial Control : Maintain financial control within predefined budgets.
Accurate Reporting : Provide reliable, accurate, and complete asset performance and repair information.
Problem-Solving : Analyse and recommend solutions for recurring maintenance problems.
Continuous Skill Development : Continuously maintain and update your skills, competence, and knowledge in all relevant subject areas throughout your career.
Knowledge and Skills
To be considered for this role you must have:
Extensive experience as an instrumentation and/or electrical engineer.
Proven ability to analyse faults and implement comprehensive reactive solutions.
An HNC or at least an ONC in a relevant technical discipline.
Previous experience in the water industry (desirable).

Flexibility and adaptability to manage conflicting priorities effectively.
