THE OPPORTUNITY We seek a Mechanical Engineer to support peripheral design activities for a major defence project. This role involves managing non-core design elements with suppliers, ensuring integration with core systems, and supporting subsystem reliability. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Design & Develop: Lead peripheral component design for the defence project. Supplier Management: Coordinate with suppliers to align non-core design efforts. Testing & Validation: Develop and review testing criteria for compliance. Documentation: Maintain technical documentation for non-core activities. SKILLS: Required: Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years’ experience, CAD proficiency. Preferred: Defence experience ideally, or aerospace experience.
