About I am recruiting for a Civil Design Engineer to join my client's exceptional civils team. I am looking for someone who has a passion for making a positive impact on society, and has a sustainable design focus, ensuring innovative design protects our climate but also enhances the built environment. As a consultancy, they work across several sectors including commercial, hospitality and leisure, residential, education, public realm and regeneration.

As Engineers, they are driven to deliver creative and technical problem-solving solutions. They act as originators, advisors and doers for the built environment. With an extraordinary portfolio of projects, they are looking for talented individuals to play an integral role in their ongoing practice and growth strategy.

Responsibilities

Preparation of detailed design drawings, calculations, and specifications at all stages of design solutions

Responding to client, stakeholder, and contractor requests for information

Attendance at meetings and workshops with colleagues, clients and stakeholders and communicate design ideas through sketches, models and presentations

Co-ordinate design information with design team members and stakeholders

With the support of peers, provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team

Requirements

2-3 years of experience, with at least a year being in the UK

Used Microdrainage, Infodrainage and Civil 3D

Experience developing SuDs strategies, detailed design of below-ground drainage networks, detailed design of s38 and s278, and preparation of FRAs.
