SALARY AND BENEFITS:

GBP40-GBP50k DOE, flexible benefits package

THE ROLE:

This is a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with at least 5 years experience to join our client as they expand their team. This is a hybrid role working 37.5 hours per week.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING: Minimum 5 years experience working as a Quantity Surveyor / Employers Agent (client side) Cost Control, Bill of Quantities, and Cost Management skills. Cost Planning and Cost Reporting skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Excellent client management and presentation skills. Good knowledge of building regulations and construction contracts. In-depth knowledge of contentious quantity surveying practices. Excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines. Full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle with business insurance. DUTIES WILL INCLUDE: Engaging in the delivery of Quantity Surveying and Employers Agent services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Managing costs and finances throughout various stages of various construction projects. Ensure reported data is accurate and kept up to date. Assist with procurement and management of sub-contractors. Ensure compliance with all aspects of the contract, liaise with the project teams on project status. Guarantee the financial success and quality delivery of construction projects through effective cost management, procurement, contract administration, risk management, and value engineering.
