Due to internal promotion, we are seeking a Full-time Security Officer.
Applicants must be aged 18+ and hold a valid SIA licence. Own transport is essential in order to travel to the site.
Applicants must have a minimum of five years checkable work or back-to-school history and must possess excellent spoken and written communication skills.
Hours per week:
We are looking for someone to join our small friendly team on a permanent full-time contract (48 hours per week). Days/nights/weekend/bank holiday working may be required. Rate of Pay:
£11.66 per hour after training (Training rate - living wage £11.44). 28 days annual leave, including bank holidays (pro rata for part-time). Uniform and training provided. Roles and Responsibilities: Conduct regular, highly visible patrols of the premises. Check staff, contractors, and visitors on/off site. Control authorised access/egress of pedestrian and vehicular traffic on and off site. Write reports. Effectively deal with all incidents falling within the security remit and report all incidents to the relevant authority. Provide a customer-friendly, reassuring, professional security presence. Manage logbooks and reports by recording observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities. Provide a locking service, locking doors and gates as required. Protect property against destruction, damage, and theft. Experience: Proven work experience as a Security officer is an advantage but not essential. Experience of delivering excellent customer service. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols. Be reliable.
