Responsibilities
Creating detailed electrical designs to fit with the customer’s requirements using Eplan software and ensuring that all electrical designs comply with engineering standards
Developing PLC and HMI code in alignment with the requirements of the project’s systems using Siemens PLC software
Commissioning and installing at client’s sites
Working alongside the procurement team through the production of bills of materials and the processing of documentation
Working closely with the sales, projects and technical teams throughout each stage of the project, producing all relevant documentation when required
Requirements
Our client is ideally looking for an individual with a strong electrical design background working within Warehouse Automation. This isn’t essential however, they are also open to candidates who have electrical design experience working within a variety industries provided they have a strong understanding Siemens PLC software. It is vital for the role that you hold an Electrical Engineering qualification, are adept using Eplan software and have a strong working knowledge of both 18 th
edition andEN60204. The position will be mostly working from home but there will be a requirement to attend the office in the East Midlands once per week. You must hold a full UK driver’s license as there will be an expectation to travel to customer sites around the country.
