Materials Coordinator (Engineering)

£30,000 - £40,000 + Office Based + Progression + Monday-Friday + Early-Finish + Company Benefits Are you a Materials Coordinator or similar from an Engineering background looking for a dynamic role? In this position, you will manage the procurement of materials for the Engineering department and play a key role in the ongoing success of a leading company that offers continual progression. This company is a leading provider of bespoke Engineering solutions to the rail industry, operating for over 20 years and experiencing continual growth, with over 30 staff members. They specialise in the safety, maintenance, and modification of trains for some of the largest transportation companies in the UK, and they seek a Materials Coordinator with strong knowledge in the engineering industry to help develop the business and improve efficiency. The Role:
Resourcing of quotes for materials. Managing coordination of materials for projects. Liaise with the Engineering team and Suppliers. Plan and prepare for future projects. Negotiate prices to aid business development. Work Hours: Monday-Thursday: 8:00am-4:00pm Friday: 8:00am-1:00pm The Person:
