£35,000 to £45,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Premier Engineering is seeking a Project Engineer to join a leading engineering company in Hemel Hempstead. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to work on cutting-edge projects across a range of industries.
The Project Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
A degree in Engineering or a related discipline (Mechanical or Product). Proven experience managing engineering projects from concept to completion. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to project challenges. Proficiency in project management tools and CAD software is advantageous (Autodesk Inventor). Modifying existing CAD Models and prototypes. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets. Willingness to travel occasionally, depending on project requirements.
The Project Engineer role will involve: Overseeing all phases of project execution, including planning, design, implementation, and delivery. Project Management. Hands-on work as well as using CAD. Prototyping. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance. Preparing technical reports, project documentation, and progress updates. Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Identifying and mitigating project risks while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Liaising with clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the company.
