Join a team dedicated to making a difference in patient care during a pivotal time for healthcare. Be part of our dynamic and skilled Business Intelligence team, driving meaningful change at Gloucestershire Hospitals through insightful data analysis that empowers evidence-based decisions. Together, we will ensure the Trust is data-led in tackling today's NHS challenges.

We are looking for two Senior Information Analysts to play a crucial role in delivering clear, accurate, and concise information that supports the Trust's business and clinical functions. By analysing and interpreting complex data sets, you will produce high-quality management information for senior managers and clinical staff while offering expertise on specialised information issues.

You will be instrumental in maintaining, developing, and enhancing reporting systems, particularly in areas like contracting and performance monitoring, ensuring timely and accurate local and national data submissions. Building and sustaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels is a key aspect of this role.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and mentorship of other team members, fostering growth and collaboration within the team. We offer hybrid working arrangements following a qualifying period, providing flexibility alongside this impactful role with a friendly and supportive team.

The Business Intelligence Unit is responsible for providing information analysis to the Trust's directorates as well as providing expertise in support of the Trust's billing processes. The post holder primarily has responsibility for the development and provision of information to the Trust and its external agencies. This encompasses activity at both Acute and Community sites within the county and covers reporting on activity to ICBs and other commissioners in order to ensure that the Trust receives appropriate income.

In addition, this includes the provision of performance monitoring reports and Statutory returns to external agencies including Integrated Care Boards (ICB), Clinical Support Units (CSUs), Local Health Boards (Wales), NHS England and other external stakeholders. The team also provides expert advice to senior clinical and managerial colleagues within and outside the Trust on contracting and performance monitoring issues.

The Business Intelligence team plays a vital role in supporting the clinical divisions within the Trust by delivering comprehensive analysis and expert insights. Through operational intelligence, benchmarking activities, and strategic support for the Trust's savings plans, the team ensures data-driven decision-making that enhances efficiency and effectiveness across the organisation.

We take pride in placing people at the centre of everything we do, working together as a united team. Driven by a shared ambition to continually grow, develop, and learn, we recognise and value every contribution. By combining our experience and skills, we not only support our vibrant, diverse communities, but also support one another. As a Trust with over 9,000 employees, we are proud to be the largest employer in Gloucestershire and rank among the top 10 largest Trusts in the South West region. By joining our Trust, you will benefit from an excellent package that includes exclusive benefits, flexible working opportunities and the chance to gain valuable experience in one of our innovative hospitals.

Responsible for the development, preparation and maintenance of high quality analytical reports from clinical systems to support the Trust in performance management, clinical and operational processes.
