Role Purpose: As a software Developer within the Online IT team, you’ll collaborate with a skilled team to support various stakeholders. Your primary focus will be on advancing the online business, with a significant role in the recently launched headless storefront powered by React and Salesforce Responsibilities: Develop new features, interactive components, A/B tests, and tools that enhance user experience. Support the eCommerce platform, including Iceland’s primary site and mobile applications. Work on diverse projects, including Salesforce integrations, cloud operations, and more. Key Areas of Focus: Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver enhancements and new features. Implement changes that drive daily eCommerce operations. Set up A/B test campaigns and incorporate successful outcomes. Develop microservices and tools for campaigns. Support and develop non-transactional sites and the core Commerce Cloud platform. Engage in solution planning, retrospectives, and technical reviews. Key Skills: Strong teamwork and communication abilities. Positive, proactive, and adaptable. Collaborative and idea-oriented, with a keen eye for time management. Technical Skills Required: Familiarity with frameworks like Node.js and React.js. Experience or knowledge in eCommerce platforms, CMS tools, and cloud computing (AWS, GCP, Azure).
