Internal Systems Manager - Hemel Hempstead (Hybrid) - £50-60K
I am currently recruiting for an Internal Systems Manager to assist with the support and scale the company's corporate IT infrastructure. This role is to take responsibility for all aspects of the addition, configuration, and maintenance of our internal ICT systems. This role is extremely varied and will allow you to get involved in all areas of ICT - becoming the go-to person for everything IT.
Key Responsibilities Daily support & maintenance of IT systems - networks, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware & software. Manage corporate infrastructure in a hybrid-cloud environment. Monitor the performance, availability, and security of critical IT services across the board. Proven experience on-prem infrastructure to cloud (upgrading/migrating). Source & order IT equipment for internal users/offices.
Education and Experience Computer Science Degree (Or similar/relevant). Windows OS and networking. Strong experience administering Azure/AWS/O365 infrastructure. Security best practices. Experience in DevOps and Scripting with PowerShell, bash, and Python a plus. Stakeholder management. Systems Administrator role experience managing large user base across multiple locations. Managing/mentoring of junior team members. Strong experience building & administering Windows RDS farm on-prem/virtual environment.
