Contract:

2 year FTC Our client, an industry-leading vehicle accessory company, is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Plymouth. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our IT network, datacentres, servers, and storage systems, ensuring high availability and performance. You’ll support approximately 600 staff across multiple locations, ensuring business continuity through effective IT solutions. This role offers hybrid working, with 2 days a week from home and 3 days from the Plymouth office. Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Engineer include:

Maintain, monitor, and configure data centres, ensuring optimal performance and high availability. Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers, including storage environments. Manage backup and recovery systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with standards. Support and maintain VMware environments, ensuring performance and resource management. Requirements of the Infrastructure Engineer include:

Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience in servers, storage, and network management. Proficient in IT infrastructure environments, including server administration and virtualisation (VMware). Strong experience in network management, including security measures and performance monitoring. Proven project experience in IT infrastructure rollouts and support. Benefits:
