The Position We are seeking to appoint an excellent and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly, supportive and dynamic, small school. This position will be initially in a mixed year 5/6 class. The successful candidate will be required, under the direction of the class teacher, to support the wellbeing and learning of our wonderfully diverse children. Minimum Requirements: Applicants should hold at least GCSE English and Maths grade C or above or equivalent. Previous Teaching Assistant experience would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided. A first aid certificate would be an advantage along with experience of delivering a sensory programme. The weekly hours for this position are 8.00 am - 3.00 pm Monday – Friday, term time only. This is a temporary contract in the first instance, but may become permanent.
