Full time Accrofab Derby Job Advert We have a vacancy within our Manufacturing Department and are currently recruiting for the role of Manufacturing Team Leader (Machine Shop). We are looking for candidates who have relevant and proven experience in both Milling and Turning, seeking an opportunity to join a growing Organisation. Shift Pattern:

39 hours each week with a flexible starting time between 07:00 and 08:00 Monday to Friday, with a flexible finish time between 16:00 and 17:00 Monday to Thursday, and on a Friday, a finish time of 12:00. You will be entitled to a 30-minute unpaid lunch break between 12:00 and 12:30 Monday to Thursday. Additionally, you will have a 10-minute paid break each morning Monday to Friday and a 10-minute paid break each afternoon Monday to Thursday. Location:

Accrofab Derby – DE21 7RX Role Accountabilities: Support the “internal customer” (Manufacturing Manager) by sharing agreed objectives on EHS, Quality, Cost and Delivery and participating in the Operational Control model. Responsible for conducting the designated departmental walk the floor routine. Participate in the Daily Operations meeting, taking ownership of problems assigned to the TL function for resolution. Participation also includes presenting daily production metrics, quality issues, reporting on departmental EHS and capacity planning. Contribute to the delivery of the EHS Model, by leading in Job Safety Observations and providing technical/process solutions to EHS problems where appropriate. Understand the process constraints and operating rules of the value stream covered in the TL role and lead problem-solving exercises to improve flow where relevant. Support Manufacturing Manager through day-to-day supervision of Machine Shop. Person Specification: Must have previous experience and a good understanding of both Milling and Turning. Previous experience of working to Aerospace standards. Has a keen eye for detail. Demonstrates good teamwork, but should also be capable of working individually. Is self-driven with a positive outlook. Has good communication skills.
