We are looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer who has a strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy. You should also be proficient in Microsoft Windows Desktop (Windows 10/11) and Office 365. A solid understanding of Networking (preferably Cisco), Firewalls, Switches, and Virtualisation using Hyper-V is essential. Additionally, we value collaborative individuals with great communication skills who are comfortable working directly with clients. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will support day-to-day activities on our clients' IT networks. Your role will primarily focus on assisting with new server and network projects, which includes designing and installing networks from scratch, as well as deploying additional servers. You will respond to support requests from our fully managed clients, ensuring that strict SLAs are met, and you will provide pro-active monitoring and support. Additionally, you will join our small, friendly team based in Normanton on Soar and may occasionally need to travel to client sites or data centres. Description
