Production Planner

to join their Production Control Team! As our

Production Planner , you will: Implement and maintain the computerised planning system to maintain departmental production schedules, forecast sales, and customer update information. Liaise daily with production departments to ensure the plan is maintained or issues are reported and acted on appropriately. Manage and expedite orders from order receipt to despatch, including communication with NPI teams and processes prior to production. Work with the wider production control team to ensure all ancillary functions are kept at an appropriate standard - including stock control, management of sub-contractors, liaising with customers, and continuous improvement projects covering a wide range of activities. More about you: We’d like you to have experience in planning workload on production equipment with great communication skills and strong IT skills. Ideally, you’ll have a good understanding of metal forging techniques and knowledge of the effects of hot working metals and the associated metallurgy. More about IFA: We manufacture high-integrity, open-die and closed-die forged components in nickel alloy, titanium, stainless steel, and carbon alloys for customers and tier-one suppliers within the aerospace, nuclear, power generation, marine, as well as oil and gas sector. We are unique due to the combination of open and closed-die forging while also undertaking the whole production process from raw material to the finished product in one location.
