Kintec is currently recruiting for a
Construction Manager / Lead Civil Engineer
to join a prestigious giga-project in the Middle East. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to lead civil and construction activities on large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring the highest standards of design, construction, and project delivery. Key Responsibilities : Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale construction projects, ensuring compliance with project requirements, timelines, and budgets. Manage teams of engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication across all phases of the project. Provide expert input into the design, project engineering, and technical aspects of civil and mechanical works to ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices. Review and approve technical designs, specifications, and project plans to ensure alignment with project goals. Lead and supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring quality control, safety, and compliance with contractual obligations. Address and resolve any technical or construction-related issues promptly to minimize project disruptions. Oversee testing and commissioning activities, ensuring systems and structures meet operational standards and client expectations. Coordinate handover processes, including final inspections and documentation. Qualifications and Experience : Education : Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Experience : Minimum of 10+ years of industry experience, with a strong background in giga-project management or large-scale infrastructure projects. Proven experience across diverse functions, including design, project engineering, technical oversight, construction, testing, and commissioning. Skills and Competencies : Strong technical knowledge of civil, construction, and mechanical engineering principles in complex project environments. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate teams and drive project success. Proficient in project management tools, techniques, and software applications. Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
