We are now looking for a Process Improvement Engineer to work as part of our Biodiesel and Anaerobic Digestion team in Liverpool and help us to continue to do things the right way. In this position, you will play a fundamental role providing operational support for troubleshooting plant issues, identifying root causes, and completing development projects to improve plant safety and increase plant capacity. You will also step up to cover the Biodiesel and AD Manager in their absence. A little more about the role:

Provide engineering support and lead projects to provide long-term solutions to improve plant safety and increase plant capacity Lead plant development trials as required Troubleshoot plant issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions Develop plant procedures Track plant lost production and Pareto the leading issues each month Support the training of new operators We will be looking for:

Qualified to degree level in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Chartered or working toward chartership Strong understanding of process safety (ideally supported by IChemE Fundamentals of Process Safety or NEBOSH Process Safety Management course attendance) Understanding of regulations surrounding waste management (preferably WAMITAB Waste Management Certificate) IT proficient At least three years’ industry experience The ideal candidate will have:
