The company designs and manufactures a range of electro-mechanical products for various high-reliability sectors and is currently looking to take on a manufacturing engineer to implement, support, and improve manufacturing processes. Job Role In this role, you will be part of a team working to improve manufacturing processes in production cells and automated equipment: Implement manufacturing processes Oversee technical issues Develop specialist production equipment and tooling Implement continuous improvement and lean manufacturing techniques Produce technical documentation Promote material flow principles Support training of production staff This position would suit someone with a relevant engineering qualification such as an HNC or degree in mechanical engineering/electrical engineering or a proven track record in a similar role. Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools will be required, along with experience in introducing new products into manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have the drive and initiative to think independently and a passion for engineering excellence.
