Job summary Who we're looking for... BANK - Patient Environmental Action Team (PEAT) Member Band 2 AFC - Bank The post holder will be able to work individually and as part of a team to perform deep cleans across wards and departments in the trust. You will be part of a reactive service contributing to the maintenance of a hygienic and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are met. Main duties of the job To perform deep clean duties in all parts of the Trust as required. The post holder will be required to carry the emergency pager and independently respond to this pager when it is operated. The post holder covers sickness and holidays of staff and attends site at weekends and nights as required. To carry out regular cleaning of air conditioning vents and grills. To work without supervision on minor works. Ability to carry out priority work requirements on essential patient equipment used in patient care package, directly impacting the patient experience (e.g., patient toilets/wash facilities). Must be able to communicate with a range of staff and clients at all levels. Ability to prioritise changing workloads and to act proactively to address work requests in conjunction with Mechanical Supervisor/Estates Officer. Ability to understand and comment on maintenance policies. Maintain and repair health service property and equipment. To assist other trades as required.
