Aspect Group Services are currently seeking a Gas Engineer ideally with both Gas Safe and OFTEC accreditations to join our dynamic team.

Main Purpose of the Role:

To provide a high quality and cost effective heating system inspection, maintenance and repair service. Main duties will be the inspection and commissioning of existing systems. Where required the post will include repairing and installing gas and oil heating systems and plumbing works at various domestic and commercial properties within Aspect Group Services Ltd areas of operation.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

Undertake the inspection, commissioning, repairs and maintenance of gas and oil fuel heating

Be responsible for the pre-, during- and post- works safe working procedure and inspection process for properties where appliance flues pass through any working areas or roof areas that Aspect Group Services Ltd are working. Bring appliance components to current standards to ensure relevant Legislation, relevant trade body and industry standards and best practice are

Carry out other maintenance, repairs and remedial work as directed, including plumbing, carpentry etc. to a high quality of workmanship

Carry out installation, operation, maintenance and repairs of plant and equipment

Complete Plumbing and Heating works in accordance with Aspect Group Services Ltd. specifications and in compliance with the relevant Legislation, relevant trade body and industry standards and best practice. Complete all industry standard documentation and inspection/ testing

Qualifications:

Essential

Full driving licence

Educated to GSCE level

OFTEC Accredited

Gas Safe Accredited (or equivalent)

Heating and plumbing trade background

Previous experience within a customer service focused role

Skills & Attributes:

First rate communication skills

Excellent flexibility and adaptability

Must be a team player

Can do attitude with excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Must work in compliance with the relevant heating system legislation, trade body and industry standards/best practice

Efficient use of forms and logs

Write accurately and legibly

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £37,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
