I am currently seeking an experienced Technical Supervisor to join a growing, forward-thinking business based in Hemel Hempstead. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within a team responsible for maintaining critical engineering systems within high-stakes environments.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee a small engineering team to ensure the effective operation and maintenance of critical systems. Manage the day-to-day technical operations of the site, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Supervise and support engineering teams on planned maintenance, reactive tasks, and urgent repairs. Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers, driving performance, and fostering development within the team. Ensure the seamless operation of critical systems. Handle on-call duties as required for emergency situations, maintaining service continuity.
Desired Skills and Experience: Critical engineering background (Hospitals, Data Centres, Pharmaceutical) is essential. Proven experience in a supervisory role within technical or facilities management sectors. Experience with HV/LV electrical systems and holding a relevant HV/LV ticket is highly desired. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage a small team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills to work across various departments and ensure smooth operations. Ability to work under pressure and manage on-call duties effectively.
