Perform modification design of hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems on hydraulic test stands and equipment with hydraulic systems in all areas of the facility. Perform troubleshooting of hydraulic/mechanical/electrical/electronic malfunctions on test stands and other equipment with complex hydraulic systems. Oversight of construction/build and installation of test stands and other hydraulic systems. Oversight of routine maintenance and repairs as necessary to ensure equipment uptime. Oversee and improve 5S/TPM program maintenance related functions as required, working with 3rd parties. Interpret and work from existing complex drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Perform duties as assigned to ensure the continued operation and timely repair of equipment, which would include making requests for repair parts, maintaining inventories of repaired parts. Maintain a safe working environment and a clean work area. Other duties as required within the job classification and duties of lower classifications. Qualifications:

• BEng degree, degree apprenticeship,

OR

equivalent UK level 6 qualification in an engineering discipline. • Five (5) years prior work experience performing maintenance and design work for hydraulic test rigs. • Minimum of four (4) years prior work experience in an industrial or military environment operating, repairing, maintaining, and/or designing hydraulic test equipment. Skills:

Experience in an aerospace environment preferred. Team player attitude demonstrated in boss and peer relationships. Strong work ethic demonstrated through action orientation and a drive to achieve results. Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and electronic components repair. Experience with and/or training on hydraulic test stands and related hydraulic systems. Experience with electronic circuit repair on circuit cards, power supplies, instrumentation, and control systems. Knowledge of test stand fundamentals and basic operation skills. Experience operating general maintenance equipment and tools. Basic knowledge of component parts. Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic blueprints and applicable specifications. Able to design hydraulic and electrical circuits needed for test rig repairs and operation. Ability to troubleshoot legacy systems with limited or no documentation. Knowledge of maintenance procedures. Prior experience using computers. What We Offer
