Quantity Surveyor – Rail Engineering

London, Middlesex, South East, South West, Surrey We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work for a main Civil Contractor who works within Civil, infrastructure, Rail and Groundworks based projects. The role will be based in West London, on a multi-discipline civil rail project valued at £40m. Relevant Qualifications Needed:
Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering Progressed steadily from a commercial background Previously worked in Civil sectors Chartered or working towards Chartership Roles & Responsibilities:
The preparation of Valuations/Applications for Payment The preparation of Cost Reports to the Client The preparation and management of subcontract and material procurement schedules The administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts Contract administration, including change management and maintaining associated registers Maintaining project risk and opportunities schedule Procurement for project/section of works Ensuring all involved in procurement for the project understand allowances for items they are responsible for and the procedures to be followed Financial reporting for project/section of works Preparing cash forecast Preparing quarterly forecasts Apply For This Job
