Develop plant layout plans in cooperation with process engineers and customers. Create concept designs for process pipework, including physical arrangements, routing optimisation, and pipework support structures. Utilise E3D (AVEVA) for modelling and drawing creation. Develop detailed designs and sequencing for in-house manufacturing. Participate in steel construction planning and coordinate steel construction and earthquake calculations. Present designs to internal stakeholders and external customers. Attend design reviews (single and multi-discipline). Maintain and expand specialist knowledge of pipework designs. Provide engineering support to the manufacturing department during pipework system production. Offer installation and testing support for pipework systems at customer sites. Qualifications & Experience:
Degree in mechanical engineering or a related field preferred. Several years of experience in process/chemical plant piping design. Strong knowledge of EU and US standards (EN, ASME). Experience using E3D or PDMS; training on E3D may be provided for candidates with other 3D software experience. Knowledge of MS Office tools and experience with plant design software such as Plant 3D is desirable. A structured, efficient, and results-oriented approach to work. Strong customer focus with excellent interpersonal and teamworking skills. Flexibility to travel in the UK and overseas. SC security clearance required (or ability to obtain). Additional Skills (Desirable):
German language skills are advantageous. French language skills in addition to English are beneficial.
