PPM focus role My Client has been manufacturing in the area for years and has a factory packed with automated machinery that supplies to the automotive industry. This is an amazing opportunity for a maintenance team leader to focus on PPMs while leading a team with a large element on planning, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis. Experience with CNC machines would be an advantage but is NOT a deal breaker. This is an incredible opportunity for an existing maintenance team leader or a hands-on maintenance engineer looking for the next step up. If you are a maintenance engineer, you will need to demonstrate experience with PPMs and improvements you have made to machines. They need an idea person for this role, someone who can think on their feet and enjoys the thought of making improvements. The role will involve training, and they are only recruiting as someone has retired. This role will be 50/50 desk-based and hands-on as the maintenance team leader. Benefits for the Maintenance Team Leader: 27 flexi days per year (Jan 1 to 31 Dec) + 1 extra day after 5 years service + 8 statutory days. Most duties will be mechanical with some electrical; the ideal bias would be 60/40 mechanical but not a deal breaker. Attitude and soft skills are key for this role, with loads of development and progression opportunities for the maintenance team leader.
