Job Description: As the Electrical Lead, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the electrical scope for our renewable energy and infrastructure projects. This will involve supporting the tender process, overseeing technical evaluations, and managing electrical elements throughout live projects. The ideal candidate will combine expert technical knowledge with strong commercial awareness to ensure project success. Key Responsibilities:

Tender Stage Review & Development:

Assess and review electrical offers for wind farms, battery storage, solar, and building works. Lead the development of the electrical offer, collaborating with internal and external specialists. Provide expert analysis on project timelines and pricing, ensuring competitive and accurate bids. Critically evaluate the robustness of proposals, ensuring they meet technical and commercial requirements. Ensure all technical and commercial clarifications are captured during the tendering process. Identify and highlight risks related to electrical subcontracts, providing mitigation strategies. Support on Live Projects:

Provide expert electrical support across the business on ongoing projects. Review project programmes and contractual claims, providing technical insights and challenges where necessary. Monitor and evaluate electrical performance across projects at a senior management level. Lead regular feedback sessions with the supply chain, focusing on continuous improvement and performance enhancement. Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in managing electrical works within large-scale civil engineering or renewable energy projects. Strong understanding of electrical tendering processes, programme management, and commercial considerations. Ability to critically assess proposals, identify risks, and suggest technical improvements. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to work across multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with renewable energy projects (wind, solar, battery storage) and building services is advantageous. What We Offer:
