Well established small firm of consulting structural engineers seeks another experienced structural designer to add to their happy team, based at their Fareham office. With over 40 years of established reputation, they pride themselves on being a client-focused practice. UK experience is essential, as is the ability to design in all the main materials on a range of building projects. If you can do a bit of drainage design as well, that would be very useful. Chartership useful but not essential. The workload here is very varied, including projects in the commercial, residential, conservation, education, and retail sectors. Projects can range from very small up to £15-20m. The firm uses a variety of software including SCIA, Robot, Tekla, and Tedds. They are within walking distance from the station or car parking is easy. The team is a stable family business, looking for the right person to join. The role would suit someone looking for long-term career development, stability, and autonomy of work within a happy and settled team. On top of the basic salary, there are 20 days holiday plus the firm closes down over Christmas, and those days are given as extra.
