Controlling and reducing costs to drive profitability in the factory by continuously challenging manufacturing methods. Recognised national or international engineering accreditation (e.g., UK IEng or CEng) is desirable. General understanding of manufacturing processes relevant to the business (Machining, Welding, NDE, Fabrication & Assembly, and Metrology). Awareness of Manufacturing Systems (i.e., NX, Teamcentre, CAPP, SAP) relevant to the business is desirable. Good understanding of Engineering processes relevant to the role (e.g., DfM). We believe that diverse backgrounds and cultures provide different perspectives that contribute to our success. To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines, you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently have this. Due to the nature of our work, you must hold UK nationality; dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work with Rolls-Royce Submarines.
