Permanent Role Overview Our leading defence manufacturing client based in the Stevenage area is searching for a Missile Systems Design Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a number of solutions to execute requirements for both project needs within the defence industry. Key Responsibilities Evaluating customer technical requirements and developing product specifications. Applying systems design and modeling techniques to assess and optimize system behavior. Managing verification and validation processes to demonstrate system functionality and performance. Gaining in-depth knowledge of missile system design within a diverse engineering team. Collaborating with teams to create innovative solutions for cutting-edge missile technologies. Key Experience & Qualifications Proven ability to apply systems engineering practices across the V-model for complex product development. Familiarity with systems engineering tools (such as DOORS, Rhapsody) and modeling languages (SysML) is desirable. Experience managing engineering work packages, coordinating efforts with other teams and subject matter experts. Strong relationship-building skills with partners, suppliers, and customers. Knowledge of Defence, Military, or aerospace standards and design assurance processes is a plus. Passion for continuous growth in systems engineering expertise. Previous experience in the defense, aerospace, or government sectors is beneficial. Benefits Company Bonus:
