The Role

We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team in Leeds. Curtins is well-known locally for our work on projects such as the Tetley Brewery redevelopment, the Wellington Place masterplan, City Reach on Kirkstall Road, and numerous other high-profile mixed-use city center developments. We have undertaken various projects for local educational institutions, including the University of Leeds, the University of York, and the University of Huddersfield, encompassing both new-build and refurbishment projects of different scales. Additionally, we are involved in projects for local healthcare trusts, including our ongoing work for Leeds Teaching Hospitals on the Rob Burrow MND Centre and the Building the Leeds Way redevelopment of the LGI. The role will involve supporting the structures team with design work, project leadership, and engineering work. You will also be mentoring other engineers and technicians in the development of our design and project information. The Right Fit

Someone with experience developing structural design delivery programmes utilising software such as TSD, ETABS, SAFE (or equivalent).

You will be appropriately qualified with BEng/BSc or MEng/MSc (or equivalent) in a relevant subject. You will be actively working under a recognised professional Institution training pathway. Above all, the right fit will be guided by what is right when making decisions, who recognises the contribution of others and shares their successes.
