We are currently looking for a keen and driven Groundcare PDI Workshop Supervisor to join and supervise the existing team here at Head Office, based in Ulting, Essex.
Role Purpose:
Reporting directly to the General Groundcare Sales Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and working alongside a small team of engineers that are responsible for the assembly, PDI, demonstration and delivery of both Professional and Domestic Grass Machinery. This includes our extensive hire of fleet of gold cars and utility vehicles.
Previous supervisory or management experience is desirable
A good understanding of grass machinery and how it works
Organising the day to day running of the workshop
Assembly of new machinery and servicing used machinery
The ability to diagnose faults and successfully carry out repairs
Lifting of heavy machinery, applying common sense to items that require the assistance of special tools
Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal diplomatically with suppliers and colleagues in a polite and professional manner
Enjoy working in a busy atmosphere and can cope under pressure during busy periods
Able to work alone and on your own initiative
Maintain a good general level of health and fitness
