Full time, permanent. Hybrid working – initially site-based in Birmingham (3 days per week), working from home (2 days per week). Initially providing contractor-side quantity surveying services for a bus route and junction improvement highways project. Have a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience. Have an in-depth understanding and experience of contractual and commercial processes. Have contractor post-contract QS experience, taking full responsibility for main contract administration and client engagement. Preferably have a degree in a construction or quantity surveying related discipline. Preferably be a member of a relevant Professional Institution or working towards membership. Have a good working knowledge of NEC forms of contract. Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Be client-focused and able to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships. Be a self-motivated team player that demonstrates excellent judgment and decision-making skills. Be flexible, positive, and engaging, with a desire to learn and develop through exposure to different types of clients and projects. Remuneration and benefits
Up to £65,000 salary (depending on experience/qualifications). Payment of professional fees. 25 days holiday entitlement, with the option to buy/sell leave. Company pension scheme.
