Maintenance Engineer Opportunity in Leeds
Our client operates a state-of-the-art 205,000 sqft manufacturing facility in Leeds, specializing in producing cut, edged, drilled, grooved, and shaped panels for the kitchen and bedroom sectors. With 450 skilled employees across two sites, they are dedicated to manufacturing and distributing laminated sheet materials, component panels, and flat-pack furniture.
Position: Maintenance Engineer Location:
Leeds
Responsibilities:
Report to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Collaborate with Lead Technicians and Maintenance Technicians to perform both planned and reactive electrical/mechanical maintenance, prioritizing critical areas.
Assist in major breakdowns by conducting root cause analysis.
Develop solutions to prevent machinery issues from recurring.
Minimize machine downtime.
Provide daily shift reports.

Pay: £18.43 per hour.
