Job Title: Town Planner / Senior Town Planner
Location: Winchester
Are you an experienced Town Planner looking to take the next step in your career, or a Senior Town Planner seeking an exciting new challenge?
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading developer in the Winchester area, is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and coordinating the planning application process for a range of development projects
Providing expert planning advice to clients and stakeholders
Liaising with local authorities, external consultants, and other parties involved in the planning process
Preparing planning reports, assessments, and relevant documentation
Ensuring projects comply with relevant planning policies and legislation
Supporting the development and implementation of planning strategies to achieve company goals
Requirements:
Degree in Town Planning or related discipline
RTPI membership or eligibility for membership
Proven experience in planning, with a track record of managing complex applications (Senior level applicants)
Strong understanding of UK planning legislation and processes
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
