Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Job Type: Permanent Start Date: ASAP - Subject to clearance Duration: Permanent Salary/ Pay Rate/ Benefits: Up to £44,000 Location: Barrow Hours of Work: 37 hours per week Applicants must have experience of the following: Understanding of CAD tools and methodologies HNC/ONC or degree in relevant STEM subject or equivalent work experience Understanding of mechanical routed systems at both 2D and 3D level in piping or HVAC design Experience in mechanical compartment integration Role Information: Produce 3D models of pipe routes, HVAC systems or mechanical compartment arrangements Produce 2D drawings and electronic data to support manufacturing, installation and testing of products Work alongside other design team members and stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are met Produce an integrated design that meets customer expectations Interested in this position?
