Working as part of the Capital Delivery Production Team for planned works, you’ll be overseeing the team of Engineers, responsible for the design, costing and planning of the capital solutions. You’ll be responsible for your team of Engineers and accountable for ensuring the safe delivery of each scheme. You’ll be leading, mentoring and supporting the team including providing development plans for new and existing members whilst ensuring the maintenance of a high performing Engineering team. Assuming a key role in the management and engagement of the team, along with the assimilation and transferring of information between key stakeholders to develop and promote schemes through governance. You will also use your extensive knowledge of network engineering design, balanced with commercial awareness to conduct all site-based investigations required to promote the optimum design solutions for a portfolio of schemes. Using your understanding of engineering design to promote or make recommendations for improved asset management, asset health, optimisation or network delivery strategies. What does it take to be a Production Senior Engineer? Experience with water distribution systems and water engineering Significant commercial awareness Proven ability to understand the infrastructure from a strategic, tactical and operational perspective Balancing solution requirements with service delivery capabilities Good understanding and experience of the ROV process particularly Root Cause Analysis Excellent IT skills Why Anglian Water?
