We are looking for an experienced

Senior Software Engineer

who lives and breathes mobile technology with expert knowledge of iOS development to join us working with our media client. You will make a key contribution to the entire development lifecycle including new writing features, fixing bugs and performing code reviews. You will have the opportunity to build the next generation of their News, Weather and Sport applications whilst working in close collaboration with other disciplines (e.g. Product, User Experience, Test and Delivery) in a highly cross functional and autonomous environment. Additionally, you will care equally about user value, business value and code quality. Essential Key Skills and Responsibilities

You will: have extensive experience working on native app development using Swift and ObjectiveC have a passion and knowledge for testing, writing unit tests, TDD and UI tests have collaborated in the design, development, deployment and support of robust software for large and complex operations be comfortable with SwiftUI functional programming have experience using App Store, Connect, CI/CD, Charles and the general App ecosystem be comfortable working with Product and Delivery team members on refining, scoping and delivery of features/bug fixes have trunk-based development and release trains with feature flags (desired) have knowledge of AWS (desired) have professional experience of working in projects using Agile Scrum development processes (desired) have experience with TCA architecture (desired) have experience of building accessible applications (desired) enjoy collaborating with other engineers have a strong willingness to learn and be a keen team player have experience of writing and taking responsibility for technical documentation Experience

A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or similar work-based experience. Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer ideally with a focus on media-related projects. Very good working knowledge of standard software development frameworks, techniques and methodologies. Experience with providing coaching and mentoring Ability to work collaboratively in a team, contributing to the development of business scenarios. Knowledge of software development tools and technologies. You are flexible and curious in your approach Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Location
