to join in January. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise-level migration and IT transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Continue Discovery Architect tasks, including the creation and refinement of runbooks and handling ad hoc discovery requirements for migration events. Oversee and execute up to 28 FC SAN migration events in alignment with the T-40 migration schedule. Conduct SRDF migration activities as scheduled. Develop, update, and maintain migration runbooks and detailed low-level designs (LLDs). Administer and optimise EMC VMAX & PowerMax systems, focusing on provisioning, disk recovery, and performance enhancement. Configure and resolve issues with Brocade SAN switches, ensuring seamless host and array connectivity. Provide support during weekends and outside standard working hours as needed. Demonstrated expertise in managing enterprise-level IT transformations and high-volume data migrations. Deep technical knowledge in VMAX, VMAX AFA, SRDF, and BCV processes and procedures. EMC Host Software, including PowerPath and Solutions Enabler. SAN migration technologies such as Open Replicator and SRDF. Strong skills in SAN architecture, performance management, and disk provisioning. Comprehensive experience with operating systems, including Windows 2003/2008, RHEL, HP-UX, Solaris, IBM AIX/VIOS, and Oracle ASM & RAC environments. Proficiency with UniSphere and Solutions Enabler for system configuration and troubleshooting. Solid understanding of networking principles and configurations. Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to create and manage complex formulas. Exceptional planning, organisational, and communication abilities, especially under high-pressure conditions.
