This is a fantastic opportunity for an assistant QS to make the step up to QS, initially taking responsibility for our clients' public realm project requirements. Full time, permanent. Hybrid working – site-based in Wolverhampton (3 days per week), working from home (2 days per week). Initially providing contractor-side quantity surveying services for a public realm project. Must have experience working in either public realm or general civil engineering works. Have a minimum of 18 months’ relevant experience. Have an in-depth understanding and experience of contractual and commercial processes. Have contractor-side QS experience, taking responsibility for post-contract quantity surveyor activities. Preferably have a degree or HND in a construction or quantity surveying related discipline. Preferably be a member of a relevant Professional Institution or working towards membership. Have an emerging working knowledge of NEC forms of contract. Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Be client-focused and able to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships. Be a self-motivated team player that demonstrates excellent judgment and decision-making skills. Be flexible, positive, and engaging, with a desire to learn and develop through exposure to different types of clients and projects. Remuneration and benefits

Up to £45,000 salary (depending on experience/qualifications). Payment of professional fees. 25 days holiday entitlement, with option to buy/sell leave. Company pension scheme.
