Job purpose

Ownership of the consolidation of business applications project including assessment of current state, mapping to future state and delivery implementation. Ensure effective use and running of business applications and reporting through training, support and continual improvement.

Main responsibilities

Power BI consolidation and ongoing maintenance/development

Delivery of current ERP consolidation and associated system dependencies on time and within budget

Documentation of systems, technical specifications, processes and modifications

Ongoing design and development of business applications for business optimisation

Code, configure and modify applications in a timely manner to suit business requirements

Development of job aids and technical tools for end users

Business application support and maintenance, including coordination and testing of upgrades

Act as a key interface between internal and external parties, build and maintain relationships and act as the point of escalation

Play key role in the development/ improvement of business processes

Ensure business applications are used effectively, conducting training as necessary

Understand/ support and consolidate current reporting methods

Ensure best and common practices are established across all businesses

Knowledge and experience

Prior experience with Power BI is essential

Able to demonstrate good end to end knowledge of business processes and tools essential

Good understanding of SQL databases, query writing and general maintenance

Report writing tools using SQL required is essential

Experience of an ERP implementation would be desirable

Competencies

Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

Ability to relate to and understand business processes from Quote to Cash

Self-motivated

Strong stakeholder management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong organisation skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

Other requirements

SC clearance or ability to obtain

Role will be based in Great Yarmouth although there may be occasional travel to the Milton Keynes facility.

A minimum of three days in the office is required
