Tutor openings for the following vocations include;
Warehouse and Storage Tutor
Hospitality & Catering Tutor
RTITB Forklift Instructor Tutor
Horticulture Tutor
Location: Newmarket – Centre based
Salary: £27,000 (inc uplift) for 4 days per week (Monday – Thursday)
Type: 4 days per week, Permanent
Essential Criteria:
Ideally hold a Level 3 Teaching Qualification OR an Assessors Award – if you do not hold either, you must be able to demonstrate extensive experience of internal training within your role and be willing to work towards a Teaching/Training qualifications provided by the company.
Must hold a min NVQ level 2 (or equiv/higher) in your specialist vocation
(for the RTITB role you must hold a full RTITB FLT Instructor Licence)
Experience ofdeliveringtraining in a workshop / group-based setting– or providing on-the-job training within the workplace.
Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
Duties:
Teach/assess learners in a classroom based setting, who are working towards a vocational qualifications within their chosen field.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
Ensure sessions are motivating,engaging and develop learners’skills knowledge and behaviours
Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
Provide advice and guidance to learnersrelating to decision making and progression.
Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
