£30,000 to £35,000 pa Experienced BIM / Revit Engineer to join a team in Manchester whose primary focus is on the successful delivery of digital information to support construction projects. Your core remit would be to actively partake in collaborative teams of engineers, contractors, architects and other multi-disciplinary teams to satisfy the requirements set-out below. The candidate should be an excellent communicator. The role would suit somebody with an Architectural Technician or Mechanical Services background and this person should have the ability to communicate with internal departments and external suppliers and also be comfortable in dealings with external professionals commonly associated with a contracting environment. The candidate must also be well disciplined and work within the company's procedures and maintain their very high standards, must be able to learn on the job and fill gaps in their own understanding using initiative and the tools available to them. Digital skill set (Required)
Autodesk Revit CDE Experience (Desirable)
Aconex BIM360 Viewpoint For Projects ProjectWise 365 Typical responsibilities as the BIM / Revit Engineer
Initial Project Setup and Understanding Client Requirements Model Development and Coordination Collaboration and Clash Detection Compliance with BIM Standards Supporting Manufacturing and Installation Final Handover and Close-Out Must have skills as the BIM / Revit Engineer
Autodesk Revit. In depth knowledge. MS office applications Basic programming Desirable Knowledge/interest In
Familiarity with excel formulas and visual basic, database manipulation MS Power query 2D AutoCAD Autodesk Inventor or equivalent MS Navision On offer
