To be successful as a DB2 Systems Programmer, you should have experience with:
Installation, maintenance, and upgrade of the IBM DB2 product and related products (DB2 CA, DB2 connect, Data Studio, etc).
Excellent understanding of Mainframe operating system tools: TSO, JCL, REXX, SQL, etc.
Practical experience working as a DB2 Systems Programmer.
Strong understanding of system performance and monitoring techniques.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience with Dev Ops tooling (e.g. VS Code, Db2 Developer extensions).
Experience with z/OSMF.
Experience with Broadcom and IBM Db2 tools.
Experience with Db2 internal and RACF Security.

Incident Management: Monitoring of IT infrastructure and system performance to identify and resolve potential issues, vulnerabilities, or outages.
Automation: Development and implementation of automated tasks and processes to improve efficiency.
Security: Implementation of secure configurations and measures to protect infrastructure against cyber-attacks and vulnerabilities.
Teamwork: Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, architects, and other engineers to define IT Infrastructure requirements.
Learning: Stay informed of industry technology trends and contribute to the organization's technology communities.
