CI Engineer with Java - DevOps Team

Responsibilities:

Apply complex principles, theories, and concepts of the technical discipline to provide solutions to a wide range of complex tasks, projects, and problems.

Utilize advanced knowledge and proficiency with source control systems, preferably Git.

Configure and use continuous integration tools (Hudson, Jenkins, etc.).

Develop using Java and work with Java-based build systems and related tools (Maven, Nexus, etc.).

Expertly use scripting languages (Python, Perl, Groovy, etc.).

Automate build, test, deployment, and related activities.

Participate in on-call rotation for 24x7 service requirements.

Collaborate and work effectively across multiple teams with varying skill sets.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent training and experience.

4+ years of engineering experience with large-scale applications.

The position will be based near Manchester. This is a 3-month contract to start immediately.
